Somewhere around 2015, after being inspired by an online ad for a minimalist wallet, I had the bold thought that I could do so much better. With zero experience in leatherworking, I grabbed a few scraps and began prototyping, making, and using my own designs.
What came out of that process was incredibly rewarding. Most designers strive for a quality finished product, but it’s the process of getting there where the real reward lives.
I gifted a few wallets to friends and family, and with their encouragement, I now run a small business built around this simple, essential piece. It carries what you need—so you can leave the out all the unnecessary filler.
