Problem: Create an ad showcasing product performance specific to hurricane-prone regions, assuring customers the louver solutions could hold up where it mattered most.
Constraint: Stand out in a trade magazine crowded with busy ads and editorial content, all while working around a lighter paper staock where image bleed-through could become a problem no matter where the ad landed in the publication.
Solution: I anchored the ad around a high-profile project that used the products, letting that unique, eye-catching project do the work of grabbing the reader first. The two louvers got clean, well-photographed treatment without competing with or distracting from the hero image.
Result: Well received across customers, reps, and internal stakeholders. My one regret: the headline falls a little flat. Worth pushing harder on next time.
