Problem: Create an ad that could hold its own inside a Florida architectural publication.
Constraint: The publication needed a Florida-specific product, and the ad had to compete against genuinely well-crafted editorial content and photography. On top of that, no product sample existed yet. Production was still weeks out.
Solution: I focused on a louver purpose-built for Florida project needs and built the ad around strong existing photography from a project where that louver played a key role, giving it a case-study feel rather than a standard product ad. Since I had no physical sample, I created a realistic rendering and carefully matched its color to the featured project's palette. Modern type kept the ad feeling at home inside the publication's design standards rather than looking like an outside advertiser.
Result: A successful ad that the local rep was proud to showcase. High-quality prints now hang in their headquarters.
